I am torn between 2 worlds: Nebraska and India. But as the school year in Nebraska has finished, I am excited to turn my focus to India. I am blessed to be able to return to India again this summer. Since this is my India blog, you should be seeing more posts this summer through the preparation time and stories and pictures after the trip. So stay tuned.....

may the spirit...

May the Spirit

Bless you with anger

At injustice and oppression,

And exploitation of people and the earth

So that you will work for justice, equity and peace.

May the Spirit

Bless you with tears to shed

For those who suffer

So that you will reach out

Your hand to comfort them.

transforming lives

To be at the school with the children and teachers is the heart of our time in India. The Lord is using this school to transform the lives of these children and the surronding villages.

my small part

This year I did not take a camera but we had some great photographers go with us so I find myself looking through a couple thousand photos. How do I decide which photos to share and what stories to tell? I will share with you with my favorite photo, the 2 little girls I sponsor, Guyathri and Mamatha. If you will remember Guyathri is HIV positive and has lost both of her parents. The day I returned from India I had letters in the mail from these girls with updates on them and their families, what a blessing to return home to. This picture reminds me of the how two little girls in India are having their life changed for eternity and my small part in that!

stay tuned

I did not blog while in India :( But our team keep a blog so here is my plug of that blog again: untouchablenomore.blogspot.com. We returned Saturday around noon. I have been fighting jet lag and sickness since returning and impending deadlines with my summer course and school quickly approaching. I hope to have more time in the days to come to post pictures and reflections on my time in India. So stay tuned.....
